Alleviated from wrongs

Violet Breen was sitting with her head up against the coarse wooden planks which made up the house behind her - her eyes were closed and her breathing was quiet as she listened to the sounds reverberating around her, the only immediatley distinguishable emotion playing across her china-like face was that of a sligt frown and the evidense of dark circles under her eyes. The sounds she heard overtook everything else, they were all familiar sounds, too - the pounding of old leather sandals on the hard packed dirt of the paths, th chatter and bartering of customers and shop keepers.
She had grown up in these very streets, and yet now - wearing her shinigami attire - felt more seperate from it than ever before. The poor watched her with trepidation wriggling at the backs of their wide eyes, and once she was out of earshot, they would whipser to one another in scorn.
Violet had not yet been assigned to a division, having had rather straight, good marks this had initially surprised her, but in her training she had learnt not to question. Soon, she knew it would happen, and she would be able to really use the knowledge she had gained.
A headach throbbed at her temples, and she frowned in malcontent - yet aside from this she did not move. If it were not for her rising chest, she could very well have been dead. Violet sighed, and opened her brilliant yet chilling blue eyes, and stumbled to her feet, hand going to her hilt of her curved zanpaktou as if to check it was still there.
Was she nervous about becoming a shinigami at long last? Yes, yes she was.

*Soren walks down the path having to be sent on a small mission to inpect the Rukon districts and he senses a Reaitsu like none of the other he had felt before and it was almost familar somehow and he rushed towards it and there he is standing in standing in front of a small pale sickly looking girl that was holding a zanpaktou in her hand she had a shinigami uniform on and he looked at her for a moment then forgot his manners and walked over to hernot knowing what she was going to do* "Umm Hello..."

The bright light streaming through to the alley in a filtered yellow illuminated only the silhouette of someone who stood much taller than she did herself. Licking her lips, her grip on the hilt of her zanpaktou Kaijin Chiri tightened as she squinted out, trying to distinguish who it was. But as the stranger spoke, she realized he must be a fellow shinigami....
Violet fell to her knees and bowed hastily, clumsy in her forced movements. Stuttering out her apologies, she glanced up at him, "Oh, I am so sorry for disturbing you... um..." she explained, "I was just free from any duties and taking a break - I will be quick to get back to the Sereitei now and ensure I have lots of work!" she pressed her forehead to the dirt floor, muttering so fast it was barely distinguishable.
Violet looked up, wiping her hands on the black uniform she wore, a weak smile on her face.

*Soren walked into the light rubbing the back of his head and knelt down to her and sighed but lifting his head smiling* "No no I was just wondering if your were a shinigami and as for your duties...just stay on your break I did not mean to startle you Umm I am Vice Captain Soren Kousen of Squad 1....nice to meet you.." *he performs a small wave and and stops smiling you notice the liutenant's badge on his arm*

Violet bites her lip, and scrambling to get to her feet quickly, she bows her head hastil, her fringe falling in her eyes, "Yes, I know that Kousen-sama, and thankyou..." she mutters so quickly that she is threatened to bite her tongue in her haste. As she looks back up, she smiles cautiosly, her eyes widening.
Finding it rather strange that a Lieutenant was wandering about in the alleyways of the Rukon disctrict, she blurts out, "But what exactly are you doing -" she stops speaking quickly, putting her hand over her mouth - wishing she could bite back her questions. WHo did she think she was - she was but an unranked shinigami, to question the luietenant of the first division was very disrespectful!

*Soren smiled at the fact that she was actually standing up to him and which he was here for no appearant reason but he sighed* "First off I will not be called kousen sama by you but Soren you can add the sama if you feel you need to and I had some free time and decided to get away for awhile which is probably going to beat a bad idea later but oh well..." *Soren stopped his stupid rambling and looked back at you* "Umm sorry about that so whats your name?"

Violet flushed in embarrassment - "Oh!" she exclaims in an awkward realisation - "I'm so sorry, S-soren-sama..." she said his name as though expecting it to blow up on ignition. "My name is Violet.... Breen, sir." she stammered, "It is a pleasure to meet you." she inclined her head again.
Despite her flustered nature, the set of her jaw and the way her eyes nagged at the back with something rather contrasting to the shy new-shinigami she was trying to portray. It indicated that perhaps ther was more to Violet than she was conscieously leading on. She smiled uncrtainly again

*Soren just stared at the flustered girl and sighed somewhat amused* "Are you alright...just calm down I am no different then you well besides our past..." *Soren sat down next to her and leaned back against them building* "Right Violet-San?"

Violet sighed, and all of her uncomfotable uncertainty seemed to melt away to become something akin to acceptance. She nodded sagely.
"I am rather sorry for the way I was acting... I must learn to treat my superiors as equals sometimes it seems. It's just all a little overwhelming... but I thankyou...." she said with a real smile, her eyes were wide and she looked up at the lueitenant with new found respect. Stretching, she patted the sword at her hip, and glanced out towards the empty street, pursing her lips. "Do you want to walk and talk, Kousen- I mean, soren-sama? I think I had better e heading back now."

*Soren smiled back and nodded and stood back up holding out his hand in a friendly manner* "Of course I would be honored to have a walk with you to get back to the soul society....may I start off the conversation by asking why you became a shinigami?"
