To choose classical or latest cosplay?

A cosplay show often need costumes, props, and plots sometimes. In many cosplay show, we can see many classical cosplay, such as pokemon, Sailor Moon, and kingdom hearts cosplay, also we can see many new cosplay, such as Attack on Titan cosplay, which should I play? Keep classical or try latest?
